CANADA: Sears Canada recalls Nevada T-shirts and pyjamas
By Katie Smith | 18 March 2013
Retailer Sears Canada has recalled its Nevada-branded girls T-shirts and two-piece pyjama sets because of potential burn and choking risks - but stressed that no injuries have been reported.
The T-shirts were discovered to have a small ribbon that can easily detach posing a potential choking hazard, while the pyjama sets do not meet the flammability requirements for children's sleepwear.
The Nevada T-shirt was sold in sizes 6-24 months at Sears Canada stores from September-December 2012. The pyjama sets were available in sizes 4-18 between August 2012 and February 2013 at Sears Canada stores, online and through its catalogue.
