Textile business SEL Manufacturing has implemented an ERP solution from provider Datatex, going live about five and a half months since the project began.
SEL, which manufactures a range of textiles and has an annual turnover of about US$400m, with plans to more than double that figure by 2013-14, chose the Datatex Now ERP solution, fully integrated to SAP Fico as its strategic platform, on the IBM System platform.
“As I understand, this has been one of the fastest Datatex implementations in the industry,” said Neeraj Saluja, SEL managing director.
“ERP provides an integrated view of business performance and does ensure efficient, transparent processes.
“It also enables rapid response to ever-changing market conditions and improved collaboration between different internal teams.”
