Leading lingerie and underwear manufacturer Sex Form on Monday posted a rise in pre-tax profits of 3.5 million euros ($3.1m) for 2001, compared to 2.9m euros ($2.5m) in the year-ago period. In a statement, the firm said turnover climbed 3.1 per cent to 34.2m euros ($30m) in 2001, compared to 2000, while the group Sex Form, including affiliated companies Prestige, Petit Elephant and subsidiary World Fashion, reported a 31.8 per cent surge in pre-tax profit to 4.2m euros ($3.7m), compared to the previous 12 month period.
