The South India Small Spinners Association will be meeting with the Indian Prime Minister in a bid to reinstate the excise duty exemption for small scale spinners which was dropped under the recent budget proposals. A meeting of office bearers of the association held on Monday agreed to take a delegation party to the Prime Minister, A B Vajpayee, as well as to federal finance minister Yashwant Sinha, textile minister, Kashiram Rana, and Andhra Pradesh state chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu.
