Sock producer Kindy on Tuesday said it swung to a full year loss amid restructuring charges linked to job losses at one of its plants.

The company reported a net loss of $2.1 million compared to a year-ago profit of $640,000 as it was hurt by the $1.4m restructuring charge related to its reorganisation plan at its site in Moliens, northern France, where 100 jobs were cut.

Kindy added turnover slipped 1.7 per cent year-on-year to $30m and said its profit before tax and extraordinary items was $150,000 versus a loss before tax and extraordinary items of $834,000 last year.
