New manufacturing, fabric and design sources from around the world will be on show for private label retailers and branded apparel companies at the Sourcing at MAGIC trade show in February.

The event, which claims to be North America's largest sourcing event focusing on the apparel, accessories and footwear supply chain, also provides an opportunity to compare prices and place orders.

And it is promising a bigger line-up of exhibiting countries, “all-star” speakers and a special country focus on Egypt, with a special area featuring over 15 top Egyptian manufacturers and design resources.

Exhibitors are expected from Bangladesh, India, China, Pakistan, Africa, Taiwan, Korea, Hong Kong, South East Asia and Ethiopia, as well as an area called ‘Premier China’ that will feature more than 30 large vertically integrated women's, men's and kids' wear manufacturers from China with contemporary design capabilities.

There will also be seminars to reveal new spring/summer 2012 fashion trends and presentations from some of the world’s top fashion industry leaders, including a keynote panel discussion, ‘Making Money in a Brave New World’ with the president of Li & Fung USA's Global Brand Business Group, Luen Thai and The Jones Group.  The speakers will discuss how to profit even in the face of the current business environment.

Other topics include ‘Mastering new sourcing challenges such as recent fluctuations in cotton prices and labour costs,’ and panels ranging from social marketing strategies to the latest in sustainability and social compliance.

Sourcing at MAGIC showcases apparel, accessories and footwear manufacturers, fabric mills, trim and component suppliers, print design studios and fashion supply chain providers from around the world.  It will take place on 13-16 February at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
