US: Stein Mart names Gregory Kleffner as CFO

Department store chain Stein Mart has named Gregory W Kleffner as the company's new chief financial officer.

Kleffner, who was most recently chief financial officer at apparel maker Kellwood Company, will step into his new role on 10 August.

While at Kellwood, Kleffner was instrumental in the restructuring of the $2.5bn company.

Kleffner replaces James G Delfs, whose pending retirement was announced earlier this year.

David H Stovall Jr, president and chief executive officer of Stein Mart said: "Greg's strong financial and strategic experience with industry-leading manufacturers and retailers makes him a great addition to our team."
