FRANCE: TA Associates eyes minority stake in Zadig & Voltaire

US investment fund TA Associates is reported to be in discussions with Zadig & Voltaire (Z&V) on taking a minority shareholding in the French fashion label.

However, a spokesperson for the company, which is 100%-owned by founder Thierry Gillier, told just-style that while there had been an approach from TA Associates and also from other companies, they had not led to negotiations being opened.

Z&V has attracted interest in the past from potential stakeholders who are said to have included LVMH-backed fund L Capital.
