US: Tandy names Jane Batts president of women’s division
Fashion company Tandy Brands Accessories has appointed Jane Batts as president of Tandy Brands' women's division.
Batts was president of the Dallas office of executive talent agency Strategic Transitions after serving as vice president of sales and merchandising at Fortune Swimwear, and vice president of sales at Warnaco's Calvin Klein Swimwear division, between 2002 and 2005.
Tandy Brands president and CEO Britt Jenkins said: "Jane's experience makes her the ideal candidate to lead our women's division."
Jenkins said he also expects Batts' experience with well-known national brands like Fortune Swimwear, Calvin Klein and Rampage will help Tandy Brands - makers of accessories such as belts, wallets, handbags and suspenders - to leverage her brand expertise.
