Thermal insulation specialist Thermore has developed a new sustainable product designed to meet the needs of outdoor apparel where warmth and water repellence are key.

As well as providing improved thermal properties, the new ThermorePro is made with 50% recycled fibre.

It joins the company's flagship Classic line, which is made up of 50% post-consumer recycled (PCR) polyester fibre and Rinnova, with 100% PCR polyester. They are all free from PFOA and PFOS (perfluorooctanoic acid and perfluorooctane sulfonate), the company says.

Thermore has operations in Europe, the US and Asia including production facilities in Thailand and offices in Hong Kong.
