Casual wear giant Gap has appointed former Vanity Fair president Tom Wyatt as president of GapBody.

Wyatt, who has spent 25 years in the intimate apparel business, will oversee all aspects of the GapBody business.

Wyatt, who most recently served as president and chief executive at upscale apparel company Cutter & Buck, has also served as president of Warnaco Intimate Apparel and Vanity Fair Intimates.

Gap brand president Cynthia Harriss said: "Tom is a veteran retail leader with a strong track record of successfully leading and growing some of the most well-respected intimate apparel brands in the industry.

"The GapBody business has tremendous opportunity and we are thrilled to bring someone on with such leadership and expertise in the intimates category."
