JAPAN: Uniqlo confirms Jil Sander October launch date

The Japanese launch date for Uniqlo's 'logo' collection, created with fashion designer Jil Sander, has been confirmed as Friday 2 October.

The 2009 autumn/winter collection consists of outerwear, bottoms, shirts, knitwear and other goods, Japanese owner Fast Retailing said.

It will be offered in around 90 stores, most of them large-format stores such as the company's Ginza location.

The Jil Sander collection, which was first announced in March, will also be sold online.
