JAPAN: Uniqlo reports September sales dip

Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo said its same-store sales decreased by 24.7% in September, as warm weather hit sales of fall collections.

The company announced that total sales including online decreased by 20.9%.

A statement by parent company Fast Retailing said: "Due to high summer temperatures continued into September, fall item sales were sluggish, contributing to year-on-year decline in same-store sales in September."
