The world's biggest luxury goods group, LVMH, on Wednesday announced the appointment of Vincent Huguenin as president and CEO of Kenzo Mode.

The 47-year-old has been chairman of Petit Bateau SA since 1993 having formerly held senior roles at the Devanlay group and the Biderman (now ECCE) group. In his new role he will report to Yves Carcelle, president of LVMH Fashion Group.

Huguenin replaces Herve Martin who is take up a new position with the Paris-based group. LVMH said Huguenin "notably contributed to the development of several licenses for men's ready-to-wear, including the Kenzo Homme license", during his time as CEO of ECCE.
