US: Wet Seal names Harold Kahn as new chairman

Women's fashion retailer The Wet Seal Inc has named board member Harold Kahn as its new chairman following the retirement of Alan Siegel.

Mr Siegel, who is stepping down after serving as a director of The Wet Seal for nearly 20 years, said: "I have recently engaged in other very important personal commitments and, as I near age 75, I believe this is an appropriate time for me to end my tenure on the company's board."

The Wet Seal operates 424 Wet Seal stores and 80 Arden B stores.
