US: Wooster takes Gilt Man fashion post
Online marketplace operator Gilt Groupe has appointed ex-Neiman Marcus executive Nick Wooster as fashion advisor on Gilt Man, its men’s website.
Wooster, whose appointment is effective immediately, will work with the site’s merchant team on trend forecasting and creative direction, reporting to John Auerbach, general manager of Gilt Man and president of Park & Bond, a new men’s retail site.
Wooster was previously men’s fashion director at Neiman Marcus, and has worked for brands including Splendid/Ella Moss, John Bartlett, Polo Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein, Bergdorf Goodman and Barney’s New York.
“As we continue to expand our men’s division, Nick Wooster’s accomplished fashion and merchandising experience will help solidify Gilt Man’s presence in the market and the increasing success of Gilt Groupe’s business as a whole,” said Auerbach.
