Luxury fabric and accessories maker, Yorklyde Plc, on Wednesday announced the resignation of Charles Brook as chairman and a director.

In a one-line statement, the producer of bespoke fabrics in cashmere, cashmere mixes and lambs wool, said Brook quit last Friday with immediate effect.

In July British Mohair Holdings Ltd yesterday made a 55 pence per share cash offer for Yorklyde which valued the company at £5.74 million.
