Oregon-based Yoshida Group announced on Wednesday it has boosted its ties with the golf industry by acquiring Forrester's, a 50-year-old manufacturer of performance outerwear for golfers, for an undisclosed sum. The deal will see Forrester's immediately merge all operations with Jones Golf, a golf bag manufacturer that was acquired by Yoshida Group in April 2001. Forrester's will also relocate its corporate headquarters, production and distribution facilities to Jones Golf's existing facility on Portland's east side.
