USA: Youth Clothing Is Growth Market
There maybe a slowdown in the general economy but fashion-conscious fickle teenagers are keeping the clothing market afloat. Cash-rich youngsters are ploughing most of the money they earn in their part-time jobs in shops and restaurants back into the clothing industry. Research carried out by Harris Interactive has revealed that the bulk of their earnings - 75 per cent for girls and 52 per cent for boys - is spent on clothing.
