HONG KONG: Yue Yuen sales rise by a quarter in June

Chinese footwear manufacturer Yue Yuen has reported a 25% rise in revenue for June 2010.

Revenue stood at US$544m for the month, compared to $411m in June 2009.

Last month Yue Yuen said its turnover had risen 17.6% year-on-year to US$1.01bn in April and May.

The company expected a boost in its footwear manufacturing activities on the back of the ongoing World Cup in South Africa.
