SPAIN: Zara to launch US website next month

A spokesperson for fashion retailer Zara has confirmed to just-style it plans to start selling clothes online in the US starting next month.

The US site is set to launch 7 September and comes a year after the retailer first unveiled plans to set up e-commerce sites.

Zara customers in Spain, France, Germany, UK, Italy and Portugal were the first to be able to shop for products online, and over the last year its site have extended into Austria, Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg and Netherlands as well as Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Monaco and Switzerland.

The fashion retailer is also expected to make its debut into Japan.
