AUSTRALIA: RM Williams streamlines product development

Australian outdoor boot and clothing brand RM Williams has taken another step towards streamlining its product development process with the web-based Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system from Just OnePlace.
The company will use the PLM solution to automate the production of its range book and specify products for manufacture.
Peter Hayward, project manager at RM Williams said: “This new system has resulted in an efficient tracking process ensuring a product's lifecycle can be managed more effectively, with better precision and with less time spent on paperwork and process management.”
This latest installation adds to the OnePlace workflow functionality suite which RM Williams has been using for the past year.
RM Williams has sales of over $50m a year, and sells its products to more than 100 locations in Australia, New Zealand, London and New York.
