Bestseller deploys PLM solution to support growth

Bestseller Fashion Group China (BFGC) has announced plans to implement a PLM solution provided by Centric Software to improve its business and support growth.

Bestseller sells clothing and accessories in more than 6,000 stores in China under four brand names – Only, Jack & Jones, Vero Moda and Selected – as well as the independent J Lindeberg brand.

The company will use the Centric PLM software for apparel, retail, luxury and consumer goods companies to support its growth, optimise product development and improve supply chain processes, said BFGC CEO Dan Friis.

The news comes several weeks after Centric announced US$24m in growth capital financing, one of the main aims of which was to help it expand its presence in China.

“China presents one of the biggest opportunities in the apparel and consumer products market, with both brands and retailers,” said Centric president and CEO Chris Groves.
