CANADA: Amiee Lynn implements Visual PLM

Design Studio, a division of accessories and leg-wear maker Amiee Lynn Inc, has selected Visual 2000’s PLM solution to integrate all departments into a collaborative work environment.

Visual PLM.net will provide users with a single point of access and a common interface across the company’s new product development efforts.

With offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong, the Amiee Lynn team has put together an aggressive global sourcing initiative and hopes to benefit from the economies of scale provided by Visual PLM.net through corporate-wide standardisation.

Steven Spolansky, co-founder of Amiee Lynn, defines this aspect of global sourcing as: “Proactively integrating and coordinating common items and materials, processes, designs, and suppliers across worldwide purchasing and operating locations.”
