Outdoor apparel specialist Canada Goose is implementing a fully-integrated software solution for fashion PLM and supply chain management (SCM) to streamline productivity and support its global expansion.
NGC's Extended PLM will provide the Toronto-based apparel maker with an end-to-end solution that encompasses every aspect of product development and supply chain management, including costing, vendor and supplier management, product testing (including CPSIA), production tracking and quality control.
Global collaboration, workflow calendars and exception dashboard features are expected to help Canada Goose further streamline productivity.
"NGC's software will help Canada Goose continue that legacy and support the company's global expansion," Mark Burstein, president of sales, marketing and product development at NGC.
Last year, the company expanded its manufacturing base with the acquisition of contract manufacturer Grand Harbour Clothing. The deal gave Canada Goose a 45,000sq ft facility in Ontario, with 70 employees and an efficiency increase of around 25%.
