IMB exhibitor news: Dassault Systèmes shows PLM solutions

Dassault Systèmes will show two solutions at next week’s IMB trade fair in Cologne, Germany: the Enovia Apparel Accelerator for design and development as well as – for the first time at a German trade fair – the Enovia Apparel Accelerator for sourcing and production.

The tools can help textile and fashion companies accelerate their product development processes in order to be able to react to trends more quickly.

The solutions have a central product data management system that links developers and designers with sourcing managers as well as agencies and suppliers – which optimises costs, capacities, deadlines and quality along the supply chain.

The company is also taking part in Speaker’s Corner, where Jérôme Bergeret, Dassault’s director for the retail-consumer goods industry, will discuss “Fast Fashion demands PLM” on 22 April at 4:00pm.

He will explain the advantages of a PLM system for fashion companies and how it supports all processes from first design to production and renders the global supply chain adequately transparent. 

As part of his presentation, Mr Bergeret will provide a customer case study illustrating how Eldo Srl, a leading Italian jeans brand, serves as an example for the swift implementation of a DS solution for the apparel industry.
