INDIA: Zweave partners with Blueprint on PLM launch

Zweave Inc is to take its on-demand design automation software to the Indian market after signing a deal with local systems integrator Blueprint.

As well as supplying Zweave’s solutions to India’a apparel industry, Blueprint will also provide support services for the product suite in the US and Pacific Rim.

“India is one of the largest exporters of apparel and with an expanding, vibrant and growing local economy this market needs PLM software solutions to support their important role in the development chain,” said Laura McCann, Zweave’s president.

“If you are a retailer, buying agent, material supplier or a factory you need the most efficient and cost effective solutions to support collaboration with your global client base and your extended partners.”

Subroto Gupta, director of Blueprint, added: “Our partnership with Zweave will allow us to bring solutions to the largest and the smallest companies and provide a platform that will support the Indian textile and manufacturing industry.

Blueprint and Zweave collaborate with third party solutions in PDM, PLM and CAD.
