Following its acquisition last year of Italian luxury sportswear brand CP Company, international garment manufacturer Tristate Holdings has invested in a new product lifecycle management (PLM) solution to help develop the brand.
The company has selected the Centric 8 PLM system from Centric Software to support its transformation of the brand and develop synergies between its historical manufacturing expertise and core branding processes like design, marketing and distribution.
"We chose Centric 8 PLM because of the flexibility and scalability of the system," says Andrea Marco Borsetti, Tristate International CIO. "As an international, multi-brand and multi-environment company, we needed to build a common foundation for our group business application."
The software will help streamline product development and order entry processes.
Tristate Holdings has evolved from its origins as a tailor in Shanghai and Hong Kong, to a vertically integrated garment manufacturing company with eight factories, four brands and more than 10,000 employees in 12 countries
CP Comany's current spring/summer 2017 collection has been entirely designed and is starting to be sold leveraging Centric 8 solutions. The brand also utlilisies Centric's Collection Book App, with both the product catalogue and orders directly linked to Centric's PLM system.
