Business Management Systems (BMS), a leading developer of product lifestyle management software solutions, has appointed Lee Goldenberg to the position of president.

Goldenberg will assume responsibility for day-to-day operations of the software company, effective immediately.

He has more than 30 years’ widely varying experience in virtually every aspect of the apparel industry, holding executive level positions at Donna Karan, Bernard Chaus, and Theory.

"Joining BMS at this time is a tremendous opportunity," said Goldenberg. "As fashion companies become more dependent on their IT strategy to support global operations and drive growth, the need for fashion-specific business solutions that accelerate speed-to-market, improve supply chain visibility, and enhance collaboration is greater than ever before.

"As a previous client, I believe that BMS is the right company to address these challenges and I look forward to helping our customers achieve greater business value from their PLM initiatives."

BMS COO Zak Kogan added: "His proven leadership skills, deep industry expertise, and his passion for information technology will enable us to more rapidly expand both market share and customer success."

BMS' flagship VerTex PLM solution extends the value of traditional PLM systems by integrating product development processes with line planning, raw materials management, fit and quality control, pre-production and production process tracking, time and action calendar management, electronic collaboration and more.
