US: Centric connector links to WebPDM

Apparel companies can extend the use of their Gerber Technology WebPDM product data management (PDM) software with a new tool that links to the Centric 8 product lifecycle management (PLM) and sourcing suite. 

The 'connector' allows data currently siloed within WebPDM to be used by merchandising, product management and sourcing teams.

It enables WebPDM design files to be used within Centric 8 solution modules, including Line Planning, Calendar Management, Product Sourcing, and Product Profitability Planning.

And it means design teams can continue to leverage the familiar design tools, while the larger solution manages the entire product process.
