US: Fashionware appoints new officers

Fashionware Technologies, Corp, has appointed two new officers: Corey M. Schwartz, Vice President - Sales and Marketing, and Sarah F. Weller, Vice-President-Client Services, it was announced today by Dr. Paul A. Friedman, President of Fashionware. Mr. Schwartz is responsible for all of the company's sales and marketing strategies. Ms. Weller is responsible for providing client services and support.

An accomplished apparel and textile industry professional, Mr. Schwartz has over 25 years experience in apparel and textiles sales and marketing and product lifecycle management information technology. Prior to joining Fashionshare, Mr. Schwartz was the director of Sales/Operations since 2001 for the Americas for CAD Technology-Apparel/Home for Pointcarre' USA, Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary of Pointcarre', the exclusive developer of proprietary apparel and textile CAD solutions software. He developed all aspects of a near start-up helping establish Pointcarre' as a recognized leader in the computer aided design industry for apparel and home fashions.

Prior to joining Fashionware, Ms. Weller was a Business Analyst in the International Trade Services Group of CGI Technology Solutions, since 2004. Among her responsibilities were collaborating with the Product Manager to design new Supply Chain Finance (SCF) products which allowed her clients to perform all SCF processing on CGI's software. In announcing the hiring of Mr. Schwartz and Ms. Weller, Dr. Friedman said, "We could not be more pleased and excited to have Corey Schwartz and Sarah Weller join the company. They will help bring us to the next level of sales and marketing and customer service and support."
