Apparel company Fruit of the Loom is to implement Gerber Technology’s YuniquePLM product life cycle management system.

Gerber said the system would allow the company and its Vanity Fair, Russell Athletic and Spalding divisions to unite under one system for the creation and communication of product tech packs, tracking of responsibilities and workflows, and communication with suppliers.

“Choosing a software system that affects all areas of the business can be quite a challenge,” said Cameron Bailey, SVP product development and customer service at Fruit of the Loom.

“But, based on our past experience with Gerber, and after working closely with them during the discovery phase of this project, we became confident in their broad knowledge and deep expertise of the day-to-day product development process that occurs at all levels and across all areas of the organisation.”
