US: Gerber ‘University’ launches CAD/CAM courses

Gerber Technology is launching a new online training tool to help users get the most out of its CAD/CAM and PLM solutions.
The web-based training option, dubbed ‘Gerber University,’ is designed for experienced users of Gerber’s products and will offer a range of courses throughout the year.
Each course includes a series of tutorials followed by a final exam that users must complete within 90 days, and focuses on topics like production planning, design, pattern development, costing and marker making.
Users select, register, participate and complete the courses at their own convenience and pace.
Gerber says the online courses have been designed to overcome “budget and resource challenges” that prevent users from participating in off-site training sessions.
