US: OOBE chooses e-PLM for design and development

Corporate apparel and uniform supplier OOBE is to use New Generation Computing’s (NGC) e-PLM to manage product design and development for its design/build and corporate apparel businesses.

Formed in the mid-1990s as an outdoor lifestyle sportswear brand, OOBE has recently switched its focus to corporate uniforms. 

The company needed a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to manage the rapid growth of its business. 

OOBE will use e-PLM for design, RFQs and bids, delivery of spec-packs to sourcing offices and factories, and to manage changes and revisions throughout the product design process.

The web-based solution ensures that everyone in the supply chain is viewing the latest information and specifications. 

“With e-PLM, we can maintain all information in a central location that is instantly accessible by our agents and factories around the world, without having to update multiple files and search through endless emails,” said Toby Stansell, president of OOBE.
