Outfits created by Ralph Lauren for the Team USA Collection at this year's Olympic Games have been designed using the FastFit360 cloud-based tool that allows samples to be viewed and style and fit changes communicated visually over the internet.

The clothing will be worn at the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as casually at the Olympic Village, with some items also available to buy in-store and online.

FastFit360 helped speed up the design and fit process by enabling the Ralph Lauren teams to view 360-degree images of items in the collection through any internet-connected device, including iPads and iPhones.

The same online communication platform also allowed them to track all of the work committed to a sample. Partners and heads of department can annotate, reply and comment on the work undertaken - all without the expense typically associated with travelling and shipping.
