French workwear brand Mulliez-Flory has selected PLM to manage its entire value chain, from creation to delivery.
The company, a key player in Europe's professional wear industry, ships over 7.5m pieces per year to workers in a range of industries, including automotive, travel, food, energy, public services, agriculture, hospitality and human services. It turned to Gerber Technology's YuniquePLM in order to unify its teams and processes.
"We produce, on average, over 3,500 prototypes every year across more than 30 manufacturing facilities," said CEO Jacques Gindre.
"Communication between our production and design teams with our vendors is absolutely crucial. YuniquePLM will enable us to reduce sample creation time and reduce errors across all of our sites."
Bill Brewster, vice president and general manager of Enterprise SW Solutions for Gerber Technology, said: "By having information and communication in one location, companies of all sizes are able to reduce errors, miscommunication and ultimately increase their speed to market."
