Remember Tweety, the wide-eyed yellow bird of Looney Tunes fame? Well, in what is perhaps one of the more obscure celebrity pairings, Warner Bros Consumer Products and socialite Nicky Hilton are to create a range of fashion apparel and accessories inspired by the cartoon character. The one-of-a-kind designs will launch in Tweety ‘Pop-Up’ shops, temporary hubs operating for six-week runs to showcase the new ‘Tweety Designed by Nicky Hilton’ collection. So what exactly will you get if you cross a fashion icon with a yellow canary? You’ll have to wait until spring 2007 to find out.
