Blog: Leonie BarrieHopeful holiday

Leonie Barrie | 12 August 2006

Along with hundreds of thousands of fellow travellers, I'm about to descend on the UK's airports over the next few days on my annual vacation. Of course the potential travel chaos is uppermost in my mind as the current security situation digs in, but I'm also fully prepared to brave any delays in the name of safety .

While I'm away the site will be in the capable hands of news editor Rebecca Danton , and here of course it will be business as usual.

I look forward to catching up with you all when I return.
