Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Sales and Related Occupations, which accounted for 17% of the total new job postings in Q1 2023 and were up by 135% year-on-year. Second highest were Office and Administrative Support Occupations, which accounted for 16% and rise by 522% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 13% of the new job postings and 55% lower year-on-year.

The highest number of jobs were posted by REWE Group with 4,650, followed by Aldi Einkauf with 3,177, while the highest increase was at Amazon at 3%.
