Actor Peter Fonda is suing a California-based clothing company for more than $123,000 for allegedly failing to pay royalties for the use of his image on its men's clothing.

An amendment to the licensing deal, which was filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit on Friday, said Dragonfly Clothing Inc was to pay Fonda "guaranteed minimum royalties" of $20,000 on 10 September.
Fonda says the company didn't pay on time and now refuses to pay altogether.

The agreement was due to run from June 2003 to June 2006, with an option to renew for three years, according to the terms of the original deal.
