Sportswear giant Adidas-Salomon AG has finalised a 10-year contract to sponsor the US Soccer League teams.

Head of Adidas' US division, Erich Stamminger, said the contract will make the company the sole supplier and sponsor of all league teams.

Stamminger didn't reveal the financial terms of the agreement, but earlier media reports have suggested that the deal is worth in the region of $100 million.

Speaking to analysts Stamminger said the company now expects sales in its soccer division to be around €900m in 2004, compared to a previously predicted €850m.
