Sportswear giant Adidas is suing three Chinese companies CNY3 million for using a logo similar to its own, according to the China Daily.

Adidas is accusing Aile Clothing and Shoe Co, Beijing Ruiguan Sports Goods Co and Beijing Jianlijia Aile Sports Goods Shop of infringing its property rights by using a logo resembling its own.

The logo was allegedly used on shoes, clothing and promotional materials produced by Aile since 2002, and was sold in Beijing Ruiguan and Beijing Jianlijia's shops.

According to the reports, spokespeople for Beijing Jianlijia said that Adidas lacked proof to back up the claim.
