UK fashion group CDU has announce that the company's creditors have appointed administrative receivers.

John Whitfield and Philip Duffy of MCR have been appointed as the administrative receivers, a statement to the London Stock Exchange said.

Slimma officially changed its name to CDU last month, after it has sold the Slimma and Splendour brands to N Brown Group for GBP800,000 (US$1.3m).

It left CDU operating fashion brands including Frank Usher and Michel Amber.

Slimma posted pre-tax losses of GBP350,000 for the 26 weeks to 2 April 2010, compared with a profit of GBP2000 last time.
