Affinity Equity Partners has made an A$430m (US$321m) offer to buy apparel and shoe company Colorado Group.

Affinity made the $4.50-per-share offer through its Australian unit ARH Investments (Australia).

Credit Suisse Group, which is advising Affinity on the proposed takeover, will also supply it with a A$310m loan.

Affinity currently holds a 19.9% stake in Colorado, it said in a statement to the Australian Stock Exchange.
