The Shop Instagram feature allows users to view and buy products directly through the app

nFlate, makers of the mobile apparel marketplace app See It Buy It (SiBi), has rolled out its technology to 31 additional countries, in a move that streamlines the online shopping process for an additional 700m shoppers.

SiBi is the first end-to-end mobile apparel marketplace to use artificial intelligence to help shoppers find fashion fast with its ability to shop using Instagram posts, photos or by favourite colours. The app's Shop Instagram feature allows users to view and buy products directly through the app, streamlining the online shopping process by removing the need to search a brand's website for the desired product and its price.

As part of the Instagram integration, when users tap on a post that interests them, it generates a match with similar items available on the SiBi marketplace. Once a shopper finds a product they want to buy, checkout is completed from within the app. As part of the deal, SiBi has also integrated with Canadian e-commerce company Shopify, to offer apparel products from the platform's 500,000 plus merchants.

Now, nFlate says both its iPhone and Android versions are available for download in 31 additional countries, taking the effective English-speaking reach to more than 1bn potential SiBi shoppers. In addition to the original launch countries, the US and Canada, SiBi is now available in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Jamaica, Liberia, Malaysia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Republic of Ireland, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Trinidad and Tobago and the United Kingdom.

"Since we launched SiBi in June with our Shop Instagram functionality, we've received an outpouring of requests from shoppers in other English-speaking destinations to offer SiBi in their countries," explains nFlate CEO Joe Monastiero.

In addition to shopping by matching Instagram posts, SiBi users can also shop by taking photos, matching colours or simply by telling SiBi what they are looking for.

As part of the internationalisation effort, SiBi now automatically converts all merchant default currencies to local currencies and offers shipping to any location in the world that a merchant supports.
