Browzwear and Alvanon are working together in Hong Kong and China

Digital apparel specialists Alvanon and Browzwear are teaming up in a new strategic regional partnership to offer both fit consulting and 3D apparel design, development and merchandising solutions in Hong Kong and China.

The agreement will see Alvanon package 3D end-to-end solutions for prospective clients and collaborate with Browzwear to provide support and implementation plans for new clients.

"Strengthening and expanding our partnership with Browzwear made perfect sense," explains Jason Wang, COO at Alvanon. "3D has the potential to transform the fashion industry, and this strategic partnership will facilitate and push the conversation forward. Being able to use Browzwear's latest technology to offer innovative solutions to our clients throughout Asia is exciting."

Alvanon was founded in 2001 when it developed an innovative data-driven approach to solving the challenges of sizing and fit inherent in the apparel industry. Since that time, it has evolved into a global consulting firm advising leading apparel organisations on processes and supply chains among other areas.

Browzwear, meanwhile, says the transition in the apparel industry from traditional, manual design and development to digital technologies and workflows means the ability to interact with accurate, 3D garments from the design stage through to production and merchandising, is key.

"The joint offering of both fit consulting and 3D solutions will improve our customer response time and help us dynamically overcome the challenges our industry faces today," adds CEO Sharon Lim.

Browzwear has recently developed a new fabric analyser tool to give faster and more accurate digital fabric simulations, enabling factories and brands to create 3D visualisations of garments, based on accurate properties for any fabric.
