AnnTaylor Stores Corporation today (8 September) said it has hired Paula J Zusi from Liz Claiborne Inc as its new executive vice president, chief supply chain officer.

Ms Zusi will lead all aspects of the company's sourcing and logistics activities in support of its multi-brand business, and will report to president and CEO Kay Krill.

Commenting on the appointment, Ms Krill said: "Paula comes to us with an extensive sourcing background, and she fully understands the importance of having an innovative supply chain that consistently delivers high-quality product with speed and flexibility at great value and cost."

Ms Zusi has worked at Liz Claiborne Inc for the past nine years, most recently in the role of corporate vice president of global sourcing and manufacturing where she managed the sourcing and manufacturing activities for all of the company's US-based apparel brands.

Women's wear retailer Ann Taylor operates 959 stores.
