Lithuanian clothing retailer Apranga Group has today (1 July) reported an 11.3% increase in first-half turnover, helped by higher demand in all of the markets it operates in.

Retail turnover reached LTL252.1m (US$95.2m) between January and June, compared to the same period last year. Sales in Lithuania increased 11.3% to LTL161m, while sales in Latvia and Estonia were up 10.1% and 13.8% respectively.

The Vilnius-based company, which operates 141 stores, said that during the second quarter, retail turnover increased 13.2% year-on-year to LTL133.8m.
