Lithuanian clothing retailer Apranga has entered an agreement with Canadian shoe brand Aldo to open stores across the Baltics under franchise.

Apranga said today (1 September) that it plans to open around 15 Aldo stores in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The first three stores will be opened in March 2012, in Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda.

Apranga said the move is a new direction for the apparel group, and is part of Aldo's attempts to actively expand in Europe.
