Meet the Manufacturer will take place from 25-26 June

Sourcing and supply chain executives from Arcadia and Oasis have been appointed to join the advisory board of UK sourcing event Meet the Manufacturer to shape its future.

Heading into its third edition, the major conference and trade show dedicated to British clothing, textiles and leather goods producers will double in space to 50,000 sq ft next year to accommodate more exhibitors, workshops and seminars than in previous years.

The new advisory board includes Kate Stacey, head of group sourcing at UK retail giant Arcadia Group, and Jane Wach, head of supply chain at UK fashion brand Oasis. They will be joined by Adam Mansell, currently director of special products at the UK Fashion & Textile Association (UKFT), and will take on the role of CEO at the association in January.

In addition, the board comprises Tiffany London, director at maternity wear brand Tiffany Rose & Alie Street; Vickie El-Rayyes, head of buying at Sahara; Simon Middleton, founder and managing director at The Shackleton Design & Manufacturing Co; Kate Dawson, managing director at The All-in-One Co; Daliah Simble, consultant at Daliah Simble Fashion Consultancy.

Jayne West, partnership manager of fashion and textiles at training provider Creative Skillset; and Bruce Montgomery, professor in design craftsmanship at Northumbria University, have also been appointed.

"Meet the Manufacturer has grown organically since its launch in 2014 and continues to go from strength to strength," says Kate Hills, founder and CEO of Make it British, which organises the annual event. "The aim of the advisory board is to share ideas to scope the format and content of the conference and seminars for next year's event to ensure it is as relevant and useful as possible to the industry."

Meet the Manufacturer will take place from 25-26 May at The Old Truman Brewery, London.
